Happy Home Animal Sanctuary
Our Pet Adoption Process
Animals for Adoption
Cats and Dogs for adoption are:
Spayed or neutered.
Vaccinated.
Cats and kittens are tested for Feline Leukemia (FLV) and in some cases Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV).
Undergo a health and behavioral assessment.
NOTE: Cats and dogs with known behavioral problems are NOT put up for adoption.
All adoption fees/donations go directly for the animals to help pay for their medical expenses (such as vaccinations and medications), spaying/neutering, food, and supplies.
Adopting a Pet from HHAS
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, you will be asked to:
Fill out a questionnaire.
Participate in an oral interview.
Once approved, sign our adoption contract and abide by the requirements set out.
Pay an adoption fee.
NOTE: If at any time you cannot keep your pet, please return the cat or dog to HHAS. Happy Home Animal Sanctuary is a no-kill, no-cage, all volunteer animal rescue.
